Class Alfred Eugene “Geno” Onsen, age 60, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on Dec. 27, 2021. Alfred was born Nov. 2, 1961, in Kansas City, Kansas.
The Kansas National Guard has lost a remarkable mentor, coach and beloved father. Alfred, was a surface maintenance technician at Field Maintenance Shop 7 in Kansas City for 25 years. He served 38 years in the Kansas Army National Guard and retired in 2017.
Alfred was honored with a prestigious Perfect Attendance Award for his dedication by attending every unit drill for 22 consecutive years.
A visitation for Alfred will be Thirsday, Jan. 6 from 33 to 4 p.m.at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street in Kansas City, followed by a funeral services at 4 p.m.
