Officer Career Management Board

Describes the Kansas Officer Career Management Board processing covering timelines, officer required actions, and how this board fits into the Kansas Officer Career Management Cycle. This boards output is a slating roster ranking by grade plate of officers against their peers. The slating roster is then used by the Leadership Development Assignment Panel for promotion and assignment consideration.

Selective Retention Board

Describes the Selective Retention Board covering timelines, officer required actions, and how this board fits into the Kansas Officer Career Management Cycle. This board applies to KSARNG M-day officers, including dual-status technicians, who have 20 years of qualifying service for non regular retirement.

Leadership Development Assignment Panel

Describes the Leadership Development Assignment Panel covering timelines, officer required actions, and how this panel fits into the Kansas Officer Career Management Cycle. The slating roster output from the OCMB, is used as a guide by the LDAP for promotions, assignment considerations, and resident CGSOC nominations.

Active Service Management Board

Describes the Active Service Management Board for officers covering timelines, officer required actions, and how this board fits into the Kansas Officer Career Management Cycle. This board applies to KSARNG AGR officers and NCOs who have met the eligible requirements for their grade.

This board applies to all officers when they reach the primary zone of consideration. The primary zone of consideration for 1LTs it is 3 years time in grade, for CPT LTC it is 5 years time in grade.
