Dr. Wesley Robert Clark

Dr. Wesley Robert Clark, 71, of Sevierville, TN, formerly of Holton, KS, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at his daughters home in Fletcher, NC. Dr. Clark was born January 1, 1947 in Amarillo, TX, the son of William Henry and Muriel E. (Rabourn) Clark. Dr. Clark graduated from Topeka High School in 1965. He attended Washburn University and graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, with his Doctorate in Optometry. He proudly served as a navigator in the United States Air Force in the Vietnam War. He also served in the United States Air National Guard as an air re-fueler. Dr. Clark owned and operated Dr. Wesley Clark, OD in Holton, KS beginning 1980 until his retirement in December of 2008. He was a member of Holton Rotary Club, Holton Lions Club and volunteered for many medial missions. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Lowe and granddaughter, Ashlyn Lowe both of Fletcher, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Muriel Clark. A Celebration of Life for Dr. Clark will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
