Norman Alexander Worden

Norman Worden deployed with the 714th SECFOR in 06-07. Norman Alexander Worden, 33, passed away October 15, 2017 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned. He was born February 27, 1984 in San Antonio, Texas, the son of William F. and Nancy Gourdin Worden. A longtime area resident; he was a Military Veteran. He was of the Christian faith, was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, both of Larned and Wounded Warriors. On September 13, 2014 he married Jordahn S. Perez in Larned. She survives. Other survivors include; his mother, Nancy Worden, Orem, Utah; three sons, William B. Worden, Hutchinson, Andrew C. Worden, Hutchinson, Broguhn Worden, Larned; a daughter, Brixton Worden, Larned; three brothers, Jacob E. Worden, Newton, Neal Worden, Larned and Willson S. Worden, Larned; a sister, Kindra Perez, Larned; mother and father-in-law, John and Shona Helms, Larned, and father-in-law Mike Perez, Protection. He was preceded in death by; his father, William F. Worden and his daughter, Forever Lila Worden. Memorial service will be2:00 p.m.Fridayat Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Steven Blea presiding. Friends may sign the register9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.WednesdayandThursdayat the mortuary. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kansas with military graveside rites.
