Stephen Wayne Hall

Retired Sgt. 1st Class Stephen Wayne Hall, age 68, of Reeds Spring, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 1, 2019. He entered this life Sept. 9, 1950, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Elton and Kathleen (Raftery) Hall. His father has preceded him in death. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks. Steve proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force and the Army National Guard for 27 years. He earned the rank of sergeant first class before retiring. He was very meticulous in his hobbies. He built models of planes, boats, and cars. Steve constructed lifelike dioramas that were recognizable to anyone that knew the characters and equipment. He was a most awesome Pops to his grandson, spending time with him. Those memories will be tucked away for years to come. Steve will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Steve survived by his mother, Kathleen Hall of Shawnee, Kansas; a son, David Patrick Hall of Basehor; a daughter, Jennifer (Jeremy) Lynne Hall of Basehor; a grandchild, James (Nikki) Dean Hall of Basehor; three great-grandchildren: Honesty, James Jr., and Benny; four brothers; two sisters; and the mother to his children and best friend, Carolyn Hall of Reeds Spring, Missouri.
