Friday, June 8 - Noon - 8 p.m. - 50th Anniversary Recognition of 1968 Mobilizations Saturday, June 9 - All Day - Heartland Military Day & 50th Anniversary Recognition of 1968 Mobilizations. The Museum of the Kansas National Guard will recognize the 50th Anniversary of the 1968 mobilizations of the Kansas National Guard in 2018. That included the 184th Tac Ftr Gp for the Pueblo Crisis, and the 69th Inf Bde (Sep) and the 995th Ord Co for the Vietnam War. The tentative plan for this recognition is below:

Exhibits, Displays, and Materials

A 50th Anniversary exhibit, complete with photos, artifacts, and a Digital Photo Frame from the mobilization has been established. An exhibit on the Pueblo Crisis Mobilization (184th Tac Ftr Gp) is permanently on exhibit. Three exhibits on the 69th Infantry Brigade and the Vietnam War are permanently on exhibit. A 69th Infantry Brigade at Fort Carson exhibit is on permanent display in the 35th Division Museum. Many photo albums, collections, and documents are available in the Museum Library and will be placed on display in May 2018.
