Brian Eugene Sollers

Brian Eugene Sollers, 52, passed from this life on June 1, 2019. He was born Nov. 25, 1966, in Salina, the son of Albert E. Gene and Marjorie L. (Johnson) Sollers. Brian graduated from Hutchinson High School and worked as a welder for Agco Corporation, Hesston, for over 30 years. He served in the Kansas Army National Guard for 32 years, retiring as a sergeant first class. During his military service, he deployed with the 1st Battalion, 161st Field Artillery. Brian loved doing anything outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by daughters, Cassie Schneider (Joe), Hutchinson; Caylee Navarro (Nicholas), Hutchinson; grandchildren, Clayton Pretz, Adleigh and Paisleigh Schneider; Hayden, Ethan, and Mason Navarro; father, Gene Sollers (Janet), West Jordan, Utah; mother, Marjorie Sollers, Roanoke, Texas; sister, Georgia Hardesty, Hutchinson; uncles, Jerry Sollers, Wichita, Harold Butch Johnson (Carmen), Concordia; aunt, Audrey Wikle (Darell), Wichita; niece, Crystal Vinduska (Tommy), Hutchinson; great-niece, Jaden Vinduska; best friend, Jason McClure (Brooke), Hutchinson; and several cousins. Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents Lowell and Mildred Johnson, uncle Larry Johnson and aunt Shirley Prather. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, at The Fathers House, 1505 E 20th Ave., Hutchinson, with Pastor Sean Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, with military honors conducted by the Kansas Army National Guard honor guard. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with family present from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Elliott Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to South Hutchinson V.F.W.
